The ground zero Mosque in New York is currently facing a huge financial problem. Con Ed is demanding for the payments which had been taken by the mosque owner as the rent amount. The amount is so huge that is not easy to be paid back. It is almost $1.7 Million. Con Ed had given the alliance to the owner of the mosque because they both had an equal partnership on the property. Currently this issue has gained quite an unusual fame in the State’s history. The issue has been created on the western side of the property, the address noted to be the 51 Park Plazas. The owner of the property has owned the property for many years and it is a five stories tall building. The plans related to the building were that it was planned to be a huge community center by taking the lease from Con Ed, and the owner had been planning to take down the next two buildings by this money. The problem got so much hype because as per the agreements Con Ed was expecting the pending amount to be pain on time, but when the owner failed to returned that, the news hit the court and media.
