The people who got rescued have answered to this problem that while the ship was making a turn it was hit by a strong wave and it washed over the deck entirely. The depth up to which the boat sunk was said to be about sixty five feet. The distance from the spot of the incident to the shore is measured to be almost two miles approximately.
