For the long term success of the company the Blackberry maker, the RIM is cutting down the jobs at a large scale. Research In Motion or RIM is cutting down about eleven percent of its total workforce. They are firing their two thousand employees in the name of long term success. In the period of five years the company has seen extremely positive growth rate. They have been in the competition with their biggest rivals the Apple Inc. Apple has been their major competitor and have been threatening RIM to stay in the market by offering products in answer to the powerful Apple production. To stay in the market and to overcome the popularity of Apple, RIM has to cut down its expenses and so it has decided to cut down these much jobs. The officials say that this step has been taken for the benefit of the company. The job cuts are not just limited to a single level, but at every level and at every scale the job cuts are seen. The job cuts will hopefully prove better to the company. The executives are hoping to see a prosperous financial year ahead.
